wild turkey (the BIRD not the booze)



i JUST took these right now at work. the turkey was on one of the roofs at work. i work in HARTFORD. how she got there i don't know! (yeah, i know the pictures are crappy)

I love wild turkeys. Last year we had one that hung out in our backyard regularly. The cats especially loved to watch him from the window. I always wonder what happened to him.

i've seen them in the wild, travelling in packs and eating EVERYTHING in sight!

however, i was SHOCKED to see one on the roof (one flight up) at work. i'm not right in downtown hartford but i am PRETTY DAMN CLOSE. i have NO idea where she came from
