Media Advisory - Wadsworth to Sponsor FREE Concert in Bushnell Park
The Wadsworth Atheneum and the Hartford Party Starters Union put on a free concert in
Bushnell Park in celebration of Hartford’s 375th anniversary.
WHAT: In honor of Hartford’s 375th anniversary, the Wadsworth Atheneum and the
Hartford Party Starters Union team up to present a free concert, Still Wavy 375. An
eclectic blend of new young artists from around the country unite to create an evening
of musical bliss, including Grammy nominee, Janelle Monae, as well as Holy Ghost!,
Tobacco, Maluca, Cubic Zirconia, and Rizzla. A fusion of musical genres including pop,
disco, house, funk, and salsa (just to name a few) will resonate through the crowd as
these performers light up the stage.
WHEN: Friday, July 23rd, 2010, 5-10pm

not to worry, they found her pups (and they're fine) and they found her owners (and they're NOT suspects). let's hope the police find the thugs who did this. let's hope they get prosecuted to the full extent of the law

Donations Pour In for Injured Dog

On Saturday morning, a pit bull named Ginger was found, badly burned, wandering in the Devon section of Milford. Police were concerned because she had recently delivered a litter, but the puppies were nowhere to be found.
In the last few days, Ginger shows signs she is recovering well and she captured hearts all over Connecticut. Now, police search for clues to determine what happened to her..................

Milford police are still looking for who or what injured Ginger between Friday and when she was found at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. If you have information, you are asked to call the police department.
