LADY ROSE, TROLLING THE MEAN STREETS, ALLEYS, ROADS, AVENUES, PATHS, BOULEVARDS, LANES, DRIVES AND THOROUGHFARES OF GREATER HARTFORDSHIRE views and news from a connecticut grrrl (who voted AGAINST blue back TWICE). grating on nutmeg and everyone's nerves

It is a great b/w. You can see the silver. :-)
back in the day, everyone in connecticut used to work the tobacco fields. not so much any more. there are migrant workers. it's NOT nice work. it's hot, it's hard and when they fertilize it's NASTYi.
i worked tobacco one summer, but spent most doing blueberries and strawberries. that wasn't nice either (i'm not a fan of spiders and bugs. the plants were riddled with daddy long legs). but you could do it at 14 i think it was. it was MY choice. my folks didn't send me out that young. i had some spending money and had some good times too
